Brentwood Holiday Boutiques - A Fundraising effort for Garin Elementary School Library...

Eight years ago, Summerset IV resident, civic-minded Mrs. Jo Cooper began to sponsor two fundraising boutiques annually, one in the spring, one near holiday time.  Initially, her goal for the Summerset IV Boutiques was to assist in the construction of the Brentwood Senior Center.  Prior to its completion, she had donated in excess of $1250.  Subsequently, the Boutique allowed Mrs. Cooper to gift “A Place for Learning” with a $600 endowment.  Since 2009, Garin Elementary School Library became, and remains the grateful recipient of more than $7000 and counting.

 Mrs. Cooper rents table spaces at each boutique, from which 40-50 vendors display and sell their various wares to a public eager for unique, handcrafted goods. Hourly drawings take place due to the generosity of vendor donations.  The Summerset IV spring and holiday boutiques are not only the brainchild, but also the hard work, dedication, and charitable efforts of Mrs. Jo Cooper, and her husband, Bill.  She passes out flyers, makes banners, and displays signs.  Promotion and advertising efforts by Albert Joseph Entertainment are accepted with gratitude.
